Mr Appleton brings a wealth of business and rental experience to his role as CEO of the Lavendon Group. He has spent most of his senior management career within the international logistics industry. He is an accomplished speaker who is not afraid to court controversy.
Markus Schnyder, Safety Engineer, Suva
A safety engineer within Suva's occupational health and safety department, Mr Schnyder is responsible for advising many companies on their health and safety obligations. Suva is the Swiss National Insurance Fund, an independent organisation that provides occupational health insurance for over half of Switzerland's working population.
Frank Klessens, Rental Business Unit Manager, Alimak Hek
In charge of the world's largest rental fleet of mast climbers and hoists - operated by Alimak Hek - Mr Klessens brings a vast amount of practical rental experience. Mr Klessens' background at Alimak Hek is with Hek in the Netherlands, where he was formerly chief financial officer.
Esa Peltola (Managing Director, Bronto Skylift)
Esa Peltola is one of the most experienced truck mounted aerial platform executives in the world. He has been managing director of Bronto Skylift for over 10 years.
Darren Kell, Chief Executive, UpRight Powered Access/Tanfield Group
Darren Kell, who joined Tanfield Group in 2000, has transformed the company from a volume automotive component manufacturer to a manufacturer of electric vehicles and aerial work platforms. He identified UpRight as an acquisition target and took the lead of the transaction. He was appointed Tanfield's chief executive in September 2006. Tanfield's engineering
division assembles components for clients
including Caterpillar.
Richard Tindale (Product & Business Development Manager, UpRight Powered Access)
Richard Tindale has over 15 years experience in the powered access sector in a variety of product development, sales and marketing roles. He has worked with UpRight in the UK and US, with Versalift (Distributors) UK and with a Palfinger dealer in the UK. He is currently responsible for developing UpRight's product range and its dealership network worldwide. He is a member of the IPAF Council.
Tim Whiteman, Managing Director, IPAF A former publisher, journalist and editor of both International Cranes and Access International magazines, Tim has for the past three years been managing director of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).
Pierrick Lourdain, Group Sales Manager, Haulotte Group
Pierrick was appointed group sales manager of Haulotte Group in January this year. He joined Haulotte in 1999 as marketing manager, took over the running of its UK business in 2003 and also took on the running of Haulotte's UK Platforms rental business in 2004.
Steve Shaughnessy, Director, A-Plant
Steve Shaughnessy is managing director of A-Plant's specialty products businesses, which includes powered access, and has senior level experience of both the European and US rental sectors. For almost a decade he led family-owned Shaughnessy Crane Services in the US, which was acquired by NES Rentals, one of the biggest US rental companies. At NES he rose to become chief operating officer before leaving the US to join A-Plant in the UK. He is a member of the IPAF Board of Directors.
Hubert Gardemann, Marketing Manager, Gardemann Germany 
Mr Gardemann is a marketing manager at Gardemann Germany. He is part of the family that formerly owned and operated Gardemann Arbeitsbühnen, one of the most famous names in European access rental.
